These Simple Baked Peaches are a perfect way to use your fresh, seasonal peaches. It makes an amazing, flavorful side dish for dinner or even a healthy dessert!a white pan with baked peaches with a blue napkin underneath

I’m no longer afraid to publish simple recipes that don’t necessarily seem post-worthy. My Simple Baked Apples has been a fan favorite for years and Simply Roasted Cauliflower has been a big hit despite its simplicity.

Simple is good.

We all need simple.

Even the most simple idea, the most simple recipe, still may not have been something of which you would have thought during the busyness of life. So I’ll continue to bring my simple recipes to you so you can bring them to your family.

These Simple Baked Peaches are exactly as the title entails. Peaches mixed with a few  ingredients you probably have on hand and baked to perfection.

Baked fruit definitely makes me happy. It can serve as a sweet side dish that everyone loves or just as easily a healthy dessert. Here are some ideas!

How to Serve Simple Baked Peachesa pan of baked peaches on s serving spoon

  • These are perfect served as-is as a dinner side dish. They go well with so many meals, including this Halibut recipe, this Italian Baked Chicken Breast recipe, these Sweet Potato Black Bean burgers, or this Grilled Barbecue Tofu recipe.
  • This recipe is also great served as-is as a healthy dessert!
  • Add the peaches to the top of vanilla ice cream (dairy or non-dairy). YUM.
  • Add the peaches to yogurt with a sprinkling of homemade granola for a delicious breakfast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 medium peaches, cored and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter (or coconut oil to make this vegan), melted
  • 2 tablespoons honey (use maple syrup to make this vegan)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place the sliced peaches in a medium baking dish. Set aside.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the rest of the ingredients.
  4. Drizzle the mixture onto the peaches and gently stir to evenly coat.
  5. Bake the peaches in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Enjoy!

Notes

  1. I skipped the step of peeling the peaches, and it worked out just fine. If you prefer to peel your peaches, simply score a shallow X with a knife on their bottoms, blanch them by submersing them in a pot of boiling water, then adding them to an ice bath. Allow them to dry and then the skin will slip right off.
