Who’s ready for a superhero power-up for your body?!

All the cool kids are sipping on fresh juices for improved overall health. And I don’t want you to miss out. Not if it’s about a healthy immune system. So, let’s get you in on the action!

The apple beet carrot juice or the ABC drink is the famous “miracle drink” everyone’s talking about. Rich in phytonutrients, minerals, and powerful antioxidants, this drink has some serious health benefits you’d want to tap into right away.

I’m telling you, this is truly a magic juice. The best part? It’s made with simple ingredients that I usually have on hand or I can easily get at the grocery store.

I’m totally hooked on this beet carrot apple juice. It gives me an unbeatable skin glow and energy for the whole day. It’s seriously the juice that keeps on giving!

You’ll ideally need a slow juicer to cold-press the ingredients. If you don’t have a juicer, you can absolutely start juicing with a blender. When it becomes part of your routine and you realize you’ll be juicing often, you can upgrade to a juicer! I use and love this Omega Masticating Juicer. (affiliate link)

I like to drink this first thing in the morning, but you can pair it with a hearty breakfast or just sip it in the afternoon. It’s delicious either way!

ABC Juice Benefits pouring a vibrant deep red drink into a glass

ABC Juice is made with three main ingredients: Apple, beetroot, and carrots. This juice is known for its potential health benefits due to the high nutritional content of these three powerhouse ingredients. Since it has low-calorie content, it aids in weight loss. Also, it helps improve blood flow, lower blood pressure, and improve your metabolic system. Let’s dive deeper into the specific health benefits of ABC juice:

1. Rich in Antioxidants

Apple, beetroot, and carrot are all rich sources of antioxidants such as vitamin C, vitamin E, and beta-carotene. These antioxidants help neutralize harmful free radicals in the body, which fights chronic inflammation can help reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.

2. Supports Cardiovascular Health

Beetroot is known to be rich in nitrates, which can help relax and dilate blood vessels, which supports healthy blood flow and blood pressure. Carrot is also a good source of potassium, which is important for maintaining heart health. This means ABC juice can potentially support cardiovascular health and reduce the risk of heart disease.

3. Boosts Immunity

The high vitamin C content in ABC juice, particularly from apple and carrot, can help boost the immune system, which may help prevent infections and promote overall health and well-being. We all need an immune system boost no matter how healthy we are!

4. Supports Liver Function

Beetroot has been shown to have liver-protective properties and may help support liver function. Additionally, the betaine content in beetroot may help detoxify the liver and support its health, while the antioxidants in carrot and apple may also contribute to liver health.

5. Provides Essential Nutrients

ABC juice is packed with essential nutrients such as vitamins A, B, C, and K, as well as minerals like potassium, magnesium, and iron. These nutrients play a crucial role in maintaining overall health, including supporting healthy skin, eyes, bones, and immune function.

As I said, the recipe is a combination of the simplest ingredients. Here’s what you’ll need to whizz a glass of this antioxidant-rich drink:

Beets

I use two medium or one large beet for this recipe. The beetroot juice gives the drink a beautiful, natural red hue. Besides the color, beets are rich in fiber and iron, aid your digestive system, and help to reduce inflammation.

We need red beets for the recipe. They are naturally sweeter than golden beets. And because we aren’t using any refined sugar in the recipe, we can use all the natural sweetness we can get.

If you’re diabetic or prone to kidney stones, ask your doc before consuming any beetroot juice. Also, your pee will be pinkish after a glass of this drink. Don’t worry. It’s perfectly normal!

Carrots

Carrots add a subtle sweetness to the drink. Carrot juice has a slightly milky texture, adding velvety smoothness to the drink. Plus, carrots are a powerhouse of Vitamin A – the ultimate beauty vitamin. It gives you good vision and a healthy reproduction system. Also, the Vitamin A in carrots is the reason this drink makes your skin glow like an angel!

Carrots are also a fair source of Vitamin C and beta-carotene. It means that your drink will have antioxidants and anti-inflammatory benefits. Use three medium carrots, at least.

Apple

This is the star ingredient of this recipe. I love to use Pink Lady apples. They are juicy and sweet. And most of all, their stunning pink hue adds to the deep red color of the drink.

You can use any type of apple – green or red. Even a combination of apples will do.

Granny Smith Apples have a nice tartness that balances the sweet flavor of beets and carrots. Then there are Honeycrisps with their incredibly sweet flavor. The choice is all yours–I use a different apple every time I make this juice!

Ginger

Now, this one’s optional. Sometimes I add it. Sometimes I don’t. But when I do, my fresh juice has a zingy kick that I can’t resist. Ginger juice also helps with digestion and boosts immunity, so why not? Ginger is also a powerhouse anti-inflammatory ingredient I try to include in my diet weekly, so I often add it to many of my juice recipes and smoothie recipes.

Add half an inch to an inch of fresh ginger for a nice gingery flavor.

Instructions for Making the ABC Juice
