I mixed the two together and it. was. perfect. I love traditional fresh salsa and the strawberries added a surprising sweet touch. I loved it and made a mental note to make some strawberry-tomato salsa in the future.
A few days later, I was at the grocery store and organic strawberries were on sale for $1.89 a pound. The universe was telling me to make strawberry-tomato salsa. So I did. And I’m glad I did. This is such a fun twist on traditional salsa and makes a perfect snack. I’m sure I’ll be bringing this to some cook-outs this summer, too.

I hope you enjoy this refreshing salsa as much as I have.
I also want to thank you for the great suggestions for how to use kohlrabi. Now my big problem is figuring out which idea I should use! 🙂 I will definitely keep you updated on what I do and hopefully will have a fun new recipe to share. Happy Monday!

Maryea says
I’m normally not into raw onions at all, but they really work here. Not overpowering at all.
