Stitch Fix #3: August 2014

When we got back from our vacation last week, I was so excited to see my next Stitch Fix box waiting for me.  Opening the Fix and seeing what my stylist picked for me has become one of the highlights of my month!  (If you haven’t read my other posts about Stitch Fix and don’t know what it is, check out this post or this post.)

I’m still loving this service and am so glad I signed up. I had a great Fix this month with some really fun pieces!  Check out what they sent me:

Kut From the Cloth Mona Boyfriend Short $68

31 Bits Celia Colorblock Beaded Necklace $48

I requested they send me shorts this month (TWO pairs of my shorts got washed with a crayon and were ruined…) and my stylist delivered!  I really needed some shorts and I fell in love with these when I put them on.  They are made of the stretchy-jean material that makes them so comfortable.  They are a nice length and they fit me well. I love white for summer so I know I’ll get tons of wear of out these.  Keep!

This necklace is another piece I fell in love with.  It’s one of those necklaces that can bring a ho-hum outfit up to super cute level.  Like the way the $12 Target tank I’m sporting in the picture above is brought to life with a nice color pop the necklace brings.  Love, love, love it.  Keep!

Skies are Blue Shoshanna Graphic Print Tie-Neck Top $58

I like this top, I just didn’t fall in love with it.  And I can’t spend $58 on a top I only like.  I did like the Bohemian feel of it, but I really just didn’t think I’d wear it enough to justify the price tag.  Return! {I have to admit I’m second guessing my decision when I look at these pictures.  Maybe it’s cuter than I though it was?)

Loveappella Elmes Striped Button Down Tank Top $48

Look who popped into this picture! Meghan was my photographer again this month, and Luke couldn’t just stand by and not participate, right? This top had potential, but in the end I just wasn’t into it.  It was so big in the neckline and armpits that I’d definitely need to wear a cami under it or I’d be flashing everyone every time I moved.  Again, I liked this okay, but not enough to pay $48.  Return!

En Creme Mickalea Striped Racerback Cowl Neck Dress $58

This dress! I love everything about it.  I clearly have too many stripes in my wardrobe (can you have too many stripes??) but I couldn’t resist this dress.  The fit:  comfy and loose, yet not so lose I look like I’m wearing a pillow.  I don’t generally love cowl necks, but this one is cut nicely and works.  The racer back is adorable–such a great cut.  Also, it has pockets! Yep.  I love it.  Keep!

Once again, I had a few of you use my referral link to sign up for this service, so I had some credit that helped pay for my order.  Thank you! If you’re thinking about signing up for Stitch Fix (it’s so awesome so you totally should!) I’d so appreciate you using my referral link. Thank you again. 🙂

Now I’ll leave with with a few non-Stitch Fix pictures of my girl Meghan.  Once we were done taking photos of all my clothes, she said she wanted a turn posing!

I have to admit, I like being behind the camera better. Have a great week, friends!

I really like the white leggings you’re wearing with the Loveappela tank. Were they from a Stitch Fix box, too?

Maybe the tie-neck top didn’t photograph well or something, but I think you made the right decision. It looks boxy. I do love these reviews though! Very cool that this service has worked for you.

It was a winner month, so much cuteness! And seriously, your legs are rockin mama. If no one else said it now you know (and they are totally thinking it). If that green button down tank had a better fit I would totally seek it out for myself!

Wow, you got some really cute items in your box! I tried Stitch Fix last winter and didn’t have much luck. You’re making me think I should try it again!

I have a Pinterest style board that I pin to a lot, so I think that helps them know my style and what I’m looking for. I also give very detailed feedback! 🙂
