Stitch Fix Review February 2016I’m back with another Stitch Fix review! I took a little bit of a Stitch Fix break, but I couldn’t stay away forever.  Stitch Fix is such a fun and convenient service, I think everyone should try it! So this month I’m giving away a $20 Stitch Fix gift card.  This covers your styling fee, which means you have nothing to lose by giving Stitch Fix a try!  Make sure you scroll all the way to the bottom of this post to enter to win.

Are you new to Stitch Fix?  It seems like everybody and their sister are Stitch Fixers now, but for those of you who don’t know here’s a quick overview of what Stitch Fix is all about:

  • You fill out a detailed style profile online, letting their stylists know all about your personal style, lifestyle, and body type.
  • A box of five clothing and/or accessory items, called a “Fix”, is sent to you.
  • You have three days to try everything on and decide what you like. You keep what you like and send back the rest using a prepaid, pre-addressed package they provide.
  • There is a $20 styling fee, which is taken off the price of what you keep.  If you keep nothing, you lose the styling fee.
  • If you decide you love it all and keep everything, you get a 25% discount off of everything.
  • You can have your Fixes delivered on a set schedule, or schedule them on an as-needed basis.
  • For every person you refer to Stitch Fix, you get a $25 credit!  Tell your friends about it to help pay for future Fixes!

Are you ready to see what I got this month?  Let’s do this!

Stitch Fix Review:  February 2016

Skies are Blue Primmie Tunic $64

I love plaid.  I love shirts I can wear with leggings.  On paper, I should have loved this top.  In reality, I didn’t.  This particular plaid was just okay for me and there were details of the shirt I didn’t like.  I didn’t like that it was a plaid shirt with no collar. That was weird to me. Also, I’m not crazy about shirts that tie the middle.  Plus the tab sleeves.  I have a few shirts with tab sleeves and I’m kind of over them.  So the verdict?  Return!

41 Hawthorn Jaxton Trench Vest $88

Stitch Fix Review February 2016 Stitch Fix Review February 2016

I had never heard of a trench vest, but I thought this was the cutest layering piece ever.  It’s different, and I like different. I can see myself wearing this all year long.  There are so many ways I can imagine styling it. So even though $88 is pricey, I am totally justifying it by knowing I’ll wear it four seasons.  The verdict? Keep!

41 Hawthorn Cristen Dress $68

Stitch Fix Review February 2016

I had mixed feelings about this dress.  I love the pattern–super cute! In general, I really like shirt dresses. There were a few things about this dress, however, that caused me to not like it as much.  First, it had those tab sleeves again. Meh.  Second, it is a shirt dress without a collar.  I think I would have liked it better with a collar.  I wasn’t in love with the neckline.  Also, it’s hard to tell in these pictures, but I think it was a tad too big.  It was very bunchy/blousy where it tied in the middle.  All of that being said, I still look at these pictures and wonder if I should have kept this.  The verdict? Return!

Mak Nadira Pullover Sweater $58

Okay, I know this looks like a basic black sweater.  But I LOVE it.  It has instantly become my favorite sweater.  No joke.  It’s soft, has a flattering fit, and great open-knit details.  It’s one of those sweaters that will be my go-to when I don’t have time to think about what to wear.  It will work with everything. (I’m also wearing it above under the Jaxton Trench Vest.)  As if you didn’t know–the verdict?  Keep!

Bancroft Kara Hammered Coin Long Necklace $34

Stitch Fix Review February 2016

I’m also wearing this necklace in the picture above with the Cristen dress. I love this necklace.  I know that I’ll be able to wear it a lot.  The verdict?  Keep!

I had a few credits to help pay for my Fix this time.  Don’t think you have to be a blogger to refer people to Stitch Fix.  I see friends sharing their referral links on Facebook all the time. I’ve also had friends in real life ask me about what I’m wearing and when I tell them it’s Stitch Fix they want to give it a try and so I email them my referral link.  Take advantage of their great referral program!

Would you like to give Stitch Fix a try?  Enter to win a $20 gift card which will cover your styling fee! You have nothing to lose!

I love the idea of convenience and that I might get to try on things I normally wouldn’t try on if I were out shopping by myself

Love your fix! I’m getting that trench in my fix this week too! I’m nervous about styling it, would LOVE to hear some of the other ways you imagine you’ll wear it year round?!
