Read below to see which posts were the heavy hitters this year. I’m going to share which recipes and posts were most popular, both overall and just those written in 2015. It’s so interesting to see what resonates with people. Sometimes I know a post will be popular before I even write it (or at least I think I know…I’m sometimes wrong, but often right), and other times a post surprises me with its popularity.
1. 5-ingredient Blender Muffins-15 Ways (2014)
2. 2-ingredient Sweet Potato Pancakes (2013)
3. Apple Cinnamon Baked Oatmeal Cups (2012)
4. 30 Dinners You Can Make in 30 Minutes or Less (2015)
5. Chocolate Peanut Butter Energy Balls (2014)
6. Anti-Bloat Smoothie (2015)
7. 5 Simple Tips to Transition to a Paperless Kitchen (2015)
8. Banana Oat Bars (2012)
9. Pumpkin Baked Oatmeal Cups (2015)
10. High Protein Energy Balls (2011)
I love this list because it really embodies what I’m trying to do. The recipes are quick and easy, simple recipes made with real, whole ingredients that are accessible. There’s also a natural living post in there that has been a huge change in our life this year (going paperless in our kitchen) and I’m happy others are interested in the idea.
It’s also interesting to study the flow of blog traffic. I focused on Pinterest a lot this year and the top 3 most viewed posts are indicative of that. Each of those three posts has been pinned over 100K times. Also, the blender muffins have taken the top spot two years in a row! (Here is the post with the top recipes from 2014)
Those are the top viewed posts on my site for 2015. Now let’s take a look at the top posts that were written in 2015. There will be some overlap since a few from 2015 made the top 10, but I’d love to show you which other recipes were popular this year.
1. 30 Dinners You Can Make in 30 Minutes or Less
3. 5 Simple Tips to Transition to a Paperless Kitchen
5. Healthy No Bake Carrot Cake Bars
6. Quinoa Peanut Butter Snack Balls
7. Skinny Spinach Artichoke Dip
8. Easy and Healthy Fruit Dessert Pizza
9. How to Freeze Spinach Cubes for Smoothies+a Hidden Greens Smoothie Recipe
It’s been a delicious year! I’m looking forward to 2016. Did your favorite recipe(s) make the list? What do you hope to see more of on Happy Healthy Mama in 2016? I love feedback!

Hi! I don’t think I’ve commented before, but wanted to say I’ve had your blog on my reader list for quite a while now, and the changes over the past year have been really outstanding. The photography hand design have really taken this blog up a notch from the old days, and the content is great.
Random thought that just came to me tonight. As silly as this sounds, I think the one teensy thing the look of your blog needs is an updated picture of you in the top right corner. You look nice in the photo, but I think if you had an updated photo with better lighting or more natural lighting, it would match the rest of your blog’s fresh look.
Anyway, RANDOM, as I said, but wanted to share. I think you’re great! Keep writing!

Thank you for your suggestion! Here’s the funny thing. I have tried to change that picture. It’s supposed to automatically update with my gravatar picture, which I changed a while back and is on all my social media accounts. You’ve renewed my intent to figure it out, so thanks! 🙂

I love this post!! A lot of great posts to be reminded of. However, just a quick heads up, so far at least 5 links have not been correct, taking me instead to Oops, this page can’t be found. Just wanted to share right away so you could get the bugs out. Happy almost New Year!

Oh man! Thanks for letting me know. I’m not sure what went wrong but I’ll check into it right away.

All the links should be working now. Thanks again for the heads up, Julia!
