When my whole family likes something I make, it’s a winner in my book. This Strawberry Peanut Butter Smoothie tastes like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich….no wonder my family loves it! Dates give it sweetness, fresh strawberries add delicious, bright flavor, and the peanut butter is the cherry on top. It’s a smoothie worth making!

This smoothie is packed with nutrition. It has over 10 grams of protein, 6 grams of fiber, and healthy fats from the peanut butter. It would make a great breakfast or mid-day snack that’ll keep you full until your next meal.

Fresh bananas are a common ingredient in many smoothie recipes. They add sweetness and give smoothies a creamy texture. I decided not to use bananas in this recipe because I wanted the strawberry and peanut butter flavor to shine. If you’re a big banana fan, you should try my Healthy Banana Split Smoothie! You could also add bananas to make this a strawberry banana peanut butter smoothie.

Simple Ingredients NeededStrawberry Peanut Butter Smoothie recipe ingredients

Almond Milk

I use unsweetened almond milk because I think the dates add enough sweetness to this smoothie. It contains 22% of the daily recommended value of vitamin E which is great for fighting inflammation.

Frozen Strawberries

Make sure you use frozen strawberries for the best results. Frozen fruits make thicker smoothies. They’re full of vitamin C, manganese, and potassium.

Dates

Dates give this strawberry peanut butter smoothie recipe the perfect amount of sweetness. They also have an excellent nutrition profile. Just one serving contains 7 grams of fiber and 2 grams of protein. Make sure you either use pitted dates or take out the pit yourself.

Peanut Butter

I use natural peanut butter. Peanut butter contains the 3 major macronutrients: protein, fiber, and fat and is also rich in vitamins and minerals.

Vanilla Extract

Just a little bit adds the best flavor.

How to make this Strawberry Peanut Butter Smoothie
