We’ve made it to the last day of Happy Healthy Mama’s Giveaway Week! I have had a blast with these giveaways. “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” It really does feel good to be hosting these giveaways. Jesus sure knew what he was talking about.
Before I get to today’s giveaway, I need to talk about something uncomfortable. Money. You see, I’m not in this blogging thing for the money. If I was, I’d be failing miserably. I actually went months and months without any source of monetization because things didn’t work out with my old advertising network. I just didn’t have the time to research new ones or figure out new ways to earn money from blogging, so I kept doing what I do without getting paid a cent.
Unfortunately, I can’t justify to my family putting in the kind of time it takes to have a quality blog without getting paid for it. You may have noticed that I am now a part of the BlogHer advertising network. So far, it’s been a great fit for me and I love the network.
I decided that another way to help with the whole justify-the-time-away-from-my-family thing would be to open a Happy Healthy Mama Amazon store. I figure an Amazon store is a win-win situation for me and you, my readers. You can buy products that you know come recommended highly. Everything I put in my store is something I’ve used or use regularly and love. In exchange, I can say to Tim, “See! I do make some money from blogging!” 😉
I just put a link to the store in my sidebar (over there—–>), so if you get the chance, browse through it and see if there’s anything you need. You will find a variety of things from food products to supplements to kitchen essentials to books I’ve read. If there is something you’d be purchasing anyway, I’d so appreciate it if you’d get it through my store.
I thought a gift card giveaway would be a perfect way to launch the new Happy Healthy Mama Amazon store! Today I am giving away a $25 gift card to be used in my new store!
Giveaway rules: All readers of Happy Healthy Mama are eligible to win. One entry per household.
How to enter: To enter, leave one comment telling me what you think you’d like to get from my store if you win. If you don’t feeling like clicking through right now, just tell me your thoughts on blogging. 🙂 Extra comments from the same computer will be deleted. A valid email address must be used.
A winner will be chosen randomly and announced next Monday, July 29, 2013.
P.S. It’s your last chance to like my Facebook page before I choose a random winner from the fans for a bonus giveaway this afternoon!

I could use a nice new good quality knife, but I really really need to get a nut milk bag! Been meaning to for ages.

I would love one of those knives. I desperately need a new one! Good luck with this venture!

I’ve had my eye on the bittman cookbooks for awhile…
Thanks for the opportunity to win!

The chai seeds would be great!

I would definitely start with the Red Mill large yeast flakes… I’ve been using those as “cheese” like crazy…. I have a great sauce with red pepper, tahini, lemon juice, onion and garlic powder and “nutchi” that I purée and put on kale and dehydrate. Yuu-um! Haven’t tried the large flakes. Though all of your items are staples!
Christine | Mindful Juggling says
I’m curious about both sucanat and coconut flour. I see them both used in recipes but have never bought them.
Jordan D says
Coconut flour, for sure! I love that stuff!
Jillian says
Either the olive oil or peanut butter. They both look great!

I would buy Einstein Never Used Flash Cards from your parenting book section. I have a 27 year old daughter (and a 7 year old daughter too!) who is due to have her first baby in 10 weeks and I would buy it for her. Thank you so much for all you do and tell Tim, “Lori in Oakland CA appreciates the time you put into your blog!” 🙂 Thank you!
Amanda T. says
I would love to purchase the coconut oil.
Cheryl Stephenson says
Coconut oil!!! Love the stuff!!! Love your recipes too, made one today. Keep it up!
Stephanie Reynolds says
I would like to try the peanut butter, I tried to make my own yesterday and I just don’t know what happened, but it is not peanut butter.
Carolyn says
What wonderful opportunities! This is a clever idea. There are many things Iwould love but I think a Mandoline slicer would be right on the top of my want list!
Ashley Brokovich says
Prenatal vitamins…the ones in your store actually contain folate instead of folic acid!
Stefanie Gladden says
I’m a huge fan of coconut oil so I’d definitely get that!
