I have a confession to make: I don’t like cleaning. I like the results after cleaning, but the actual cleaning process? Not for me. The main reason I’m publishing this Spring Cleaning Challenge is so I’ll actually do some spring cleaning. There’s no accountability like posting something on the Internet for the whole world to see.
This week as my bathroom spring cleaning tasks stared me in the face, I thought, “Why did I decide to post this on my blog again?!” Turns out it was a smart move because now I’m stuck. Everything single week, I have to roll up my sleeves and do the dirty spring cleaning tasks that are so not fun. Hey, thanks for being my cleaning accountability partner!
This is Spring Cleaning Challenge Week #2, and this week I tackled the bathrooms. Here’s the Spring Cleaning checklist I used for cleaning my bathrooms.

Spring cleaning the bathroom is just taking your regular cleaning up a few notches and sprinkling in some organizing/decluttering. It felt great to go through and get rid of unwanted toiletries that weren’t being used or empty cosmetic bottles that never got thrown away. As much as I hated opening the windows and cleaning out the window sills, it was so nice knowing all the dead flies, dirt, and grime were gone. And can we talk about my make-up drawer? How in the world does it get so gunky?! I’m so happy to have it tidy, organized, and clean again. See? I told you. I hate the process, but love the results of spring cleaning!
I hope you’re joining me in this Spring Cleaning Challenge and cleaning, organizing, and decluttering right along with me! Last week I tackled my pantry, stay tuned to see what’s next on my list!

This is a great challenge! The bathroom is the place that needs deep cleaning once a season and is good to keep in mind a way to do it fast and efficiently! Thanks for sharing!

This weekend my boyfriend and i spent all day on cleaning our apartment for Spring! Definitely not the most enjoyable weekend task, but super happy with how it all looks now 🙂 That bathroom checklist is THOROUGH. Nice work!

I’m with you on the cleaning. I don’t love the process but I love the end result! Our condo is closing today so I spent 5 hours yesterday cleaning it from top to bottom. Cleaning is hard work!

Oh man 5 hours of cleaning does not sound fun!!
