Grateful

Every day, I wake up, whether I’ve had a restful sleep or was up with Luke two times, I breathe.  God’s blessed me with one more day.

He’s given me the privilege of being the mom of these two children.

And spending my life with my soul’s perfect mate.

Whether I can eat all the different foods I want or not, I have enough food to eat.

I’m lucky enough to live in a house that I can make a home.

I have family to spend the holidays with; I’m not alone.  My heart is full of gratitude.

And I have this blog. I try to use the talents God’s given me to help others.  It feels good, to help other people, so I suppose there’s some selfishness in that, but either way, I’m glad I have this blog and that some people find it helpful.

So thank you, readers, for coming back and reading.  I am grateful beyond measure.

I hope that you all had a great Thanksgiving (American readers).  I know I hope to extend this spirit of gratitude beyond the one day a year designated to being thankful.  Join me?

  2. Totally agree. We have so much to be grateful for, it shouldn’t just be acknowledged for just one day. Hope you had a wonderful holiday with your family.
