Stitch Fix Review: October 2015

I’m back with another Stitch Fix review! This one is long overdue, as I’ve had these clothes for over a month now.  Whoops. Forgive me? So my September 2015 Stitch Fix review turned into a mid October 2015 Stitch Fix review.  Such is life.

When this box arrived at my door, I had every intention of keeping nothing.  I’d been buying a lot of clothes and didn’t feel like I needed anything.  Oh, the best intentions.  Apparently Stitch Fix knows what I need before I even realize it. Let’s get to the clothes!

Loveappella Febe Crochet Detail Knit Top $48

Romolo Monticello Tiered Necklace $34

THML Bresee Scoop Neck Top $64

Just Black Dark Skinny Jeans $88

See the whole review at Happy Healthy MamaThe wind is blowing the top out in a weird way; it’s actually doesn’t look as puffy in real life as it does in this picture. It lays nicely.  When I took this shirt out of the box, I wasn’t drawn to it at all. But once I put it on, I loved it. The material is GREAT.  It’s soft and not polyester like so many of the tops Stitch Fix sends.  I have worn this to work twice already.  It’s a perfect work top as it’s easy to wear and very comfortable.  Kept!

My first thought was that I don’t need dark skinny jeans.  When I took a good look at the Mavi ones I got last winter, however, I noticed how worn and faded they were in the knees.  #momproblems  I decided that for $88, these were a good deal and I’d wear them a lot.  They fit very well.  So many jeans are too long for me, and these are perfect.  Kept!

Renee C Hubert Space Dye Open Cardigan $58

See the whole review at Happy Healthy MamaFall in Ohio is different.  It is typically chilly in the morning and then hot by afternoon.  Layers are the answer. This cardigan is a perfect fall layering piece that can be worn in so many ways.  My only hesitation was that it’s slightly tight in the biceps.  I felt like sizing up would make the whole thing too big, so I wasn’t sure if I should keep it with the slightly tight sleeves.  In the end, I didn’t feel like it was too bad and I really liked this piece.  Kept!

So the box I thought I’d send everything back, I ended up keeping it all!  I’ve had these pieces for over a month now and I’m happy with each one.  I’ve worn them all multiple times already, so that’s a good indication I made the right choice. The buy-all discount probably helped persuade me to keep everything.  The Stitch Fix buy-all discount is great.  If you keep everything, you get 25% off the entire box.  Check out the prices I paid for these with the discount:

Loveappella Febe Crochet Detail Knit Top $48    $36

Romolo Monticello Tiered Necklace $34 $25.50

THML Bresee Scoop Neck Top $64 $48

Just Black Dark Skinny Jeans $88 $66

Renee C Hubert Space Dye Open Cardigan $58 $43.50

Much better, right?!  I was really happy with this Fix.  As I mentioned, these were the clothes for my September Fix.  I took a break in October, and my next Fix is scheduled for November.  I love that you can schedule the Fixes as often or as spaced out as you’d like.  If you’d like to give Stitch Fix a try, I’d love you to use my referral link. Thanks so much!
