Turmeric Shots


Turmeric, orange, and black pepper come together to form a powerful wellness shot.


  • 24 pieces fresh turmeric root*
  • 4 large navel oranges.
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper


  1. Wash the turmeric root and cut it into pieces appropriate for your juicer. Peel and segment the oranges.
  2. Process the turmeric and orange through your juicer.
  3. If desired, strain the liquid through a fine mesh strainer.
  4. Transfer the liquid to a jar or bottle with a tight-fitting lid. Add the pepper and shake well.


*Pieces should be between 3-4 inches long. If you have thinner pieces without any “legs,” use 4, if your pieces are thicker and/or have “legs,” use 2.
