Ingredients

- 2–4 pieces fresh turmeric root*
- 4 large navel oranges.
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Wash the turmeric root and cut it into pieces appropriate for your juicer. Peel and segment the oranges.
- Process the turmeric and orange through your juicer.
- If desired, strain the liquid through a fine mesh strainer.
- Transfer the liquid to a jar or bottle with a tight-fitting lid. Add the pepper and shake well.
Notes
*Pieces should be between 3-4 inches long. If you have thinner pieces without any “legs,” use 4, if your pieces are thicker and/or have “legs,” use 2.
