Pico de gallo is so easy to make at home with 6 simple and fresh ingredients!


Ingredients

  • 2 large tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 of a white onion, chopped
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl except the cilantro. Add salt and pepper and taste. Add the cilantro.
  2. You can serve immediately or allow 30-60 minutes for flavor to develop. Store leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container for 2-5 days.
