- 1 apple, sliced
- 1/2 cup oats
- 2–3 small pitted dates
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 3/4–1 cup vanilla almond milk*
Instructions
- Place all ingredients except the liquid in a silicone food storage bag (or zip lock bag) and make sure all of the air is removed. Freeze until ready to make the smoothie.
- When ready to prepare the smoothie, transfer the frozen ingredients to the blender. Add liquid and blend until smooth.
Notes
*the amount of liquid depends on your thickness preference. Use more for a thinner smoothie, less for a thicker smoothie
