These Healthy Banana Chocolate Chip Dessert Bars are gluten-free, vegan, and have no added sugar! They are easy to make with simple ingredients and are a healthy dessert.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line the bottom of an 8X8 inch pan with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray. Set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mash your bananas and measure 1 1/2 cups.
  3. In a medium bowl, stir together the mashed banana, flax eggs, oil, milk, and vanilla.
  4. Stir in the sweetener until well combined. Add the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until combined.
  5. Fold in half of the chocolate chips.
  6. Transfer to the baking pan and use a spatula to smooth the batter evenly. Top with the remaining chocolate chips and press them down slightly.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the bars to cool completely (at least 30 minutes) before slicing.
