Girls’ Night Roasted Garlic Hummus


  • 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas, liquid reserved
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 45 roasted garlic bulbs (see this post for how to roast garlic)
  • Juice of one lemon
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sweet paprika+ more for garnish


  1. Put the chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, garlic, paprika and lemon juice in a food processor.  Sprinkle with salt and pepper and process.  Add the bean liquid as needed to create a smooth puree.  {I used about 3/4 cup liquid}  Sprinkle with paprika for garnish.
