Ingredients

- 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas, liquid reserved
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 4–5 roasted garlic bulbs (see this post for how to roast garlic)
- Juice of one lemon
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon sweet paprika+ more for garnish
Instructions
- Put the chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, garlic, paprika and lemon juice in a food processor. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and process. Add the bean liquid as needed to create a smooth puree. {I used about 3/4 cup liquid} Sprinkle with paprika for garnish.
