Description

A delicious way to get some fruit and healthy fat into your kids’ diet, this Strawberry Smoothie is delicious.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/3 cup plain yogurt (dairy or nondairy)
  • 1/3 cup coconut milk
  • 5 large strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey
  • a little ice

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy.

Notes

Recipe Notes:

  1. You can use frozen strawberries, especially helpful when strawberries aren’t in season. Eliminate the ice if you do so.
  2. You’ll need full-fat, canned coconut milk for this recipe, not the carton kind.
  3. Raw honey has the most health benefits, but regular honey will work as well. Honey should not be consumed by babies under 1 year of age.
