Ingredients
Units
Scale
- 8 ounces bittersweet chocolate, broken into pieces/squares
- 2 cups whole almonds
- Flaked sea salt
Instructions
- Break the chocolate bars into pieces. Place them into a bowl and melt the chocolate over a
double broiler or in the microwave. - Place the almonds into the bowl with the melted chocolate and stir until they are well
coated. - Next, transfer the almonds covered in chocolate to a rimmed baking sheet that is lined with
parchment paper. For clusters, you can dump all of the almonds on the tray at the same
time. For individual chocolate covered almonds, use tongs or a fork to transfer them one at
a time so they are separated on the tray. - Sprinkle the almonds with flaked sea salt.
- Place the tray in the freezer to firm. If making clusters, break them into bite-sized pieces.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
