Ingredients
1 carton (2 containers) Minute® Ready to Serve Whole Grain Brown Rice
1 tablespoon dark cocoa powder (I used this kindone !important;margin: 0px !important” src=”http://ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=hapheamam-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B001EQ4SHK” alt=”” width=”1″ height=”1″ border=”0″ />)
1 tablespoon maple syrup
2/3 cup almond milk
Optional Toppings: sliced banana, chopped walnuts, and chocolate chips (dairy-free and vegan if necessary)
Instructions
Place the two containers of brown rice in the microwave and cook for 90 seconds. Meanwhile, in a bowl, whisk together the dark cocoa powder and maple syrup until well combined. Whisk in the almond milk. Dump the rice into the bowl and mix. Microwave another 45 seconds. Stir well while it is cooling. Divide the rice mixture between two bowls and top with the optional toppings, if desired. Enjoy!
