Description
This Slow Cooker Turkey Barbecue Chili as unique flavor and is a warm and comforting meal.

- 2 pounds ground turkey
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 3 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup Homemade Bourbon Barbecue Sauce, or your favorite store bought barbecue sauce
- 2 cups frozen corn kernals
Instructions
- In a large skillet*, sauté the ground turkey, onion, and green pepper until the turkey is browned, about 10 minutes.
- Transfer to your slow cooker container* and add the rest of the ingredients except the corn. Stir well.
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
- Stir in the frozen corn and allow it to sit until it’s heated through, about 5 minutes. Enjoy!
Notes
*I actually do this step right in my Crock Pot container because it allows stovetop browning. I love that I don’t have to dirty a skillet. I use this one and I highly recommend it! (affiliate link)
