This is a simple guacamole you will commit to memory after making it just once or twice. I promise it will quickly become your go-to guacamole recipe. It can easily be doubled or tripled to accommodate a crowd.

2 perfectly ripe avocados
the juice from 1 small lime
1/8–1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro, to taste
1 small clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup finely chopped white onion
1/4–1/2 teaspoon salt, to taste
Scoop the flesh of the avocados into a medium bowl. Use a potato masher to mash. Fold in the rest of the ingredients. The flavors develop after the guacamole has a change to sit for a while, but more often than not I eat this right away. Enjoy!
