Basic Overnight Oats Recipe

  • 1 cup liquid (dairy or nondairy milk)
  • 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 mashed banana or 12 tablespoons liquid sweetener
  • pinch salt
  • Optional add-ins such as fruit, vanilla, flaxseed, etc.


  1. Place all of the ingredients in a bowl or jar and mix well.
  2. Refrigerate overnight and then serve.
