This mulled apple cider recipe is a fun twist on a classic and is the perfect holiday drink!
Ingredients

- 1 gallon apple cider or unfiltered apple juice
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon all spice berries
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 orange, sliced
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 2 cups whole fresh cranberries
Instructions
- Pour the apple cider and maple syrup in the slow cooker and mix well.
- Add the rest of the ingredients. **Optional: If you prefer, put the allspice berries and cinnamon sticks in a square of cheese cloth and bundle together and tie with kitchen string.***
- Cook on high for 3 hours, then switch to warm setting for serving. Serve with extra cinnamon sticks and orange slices, if preferred.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator and enjoyed either hot or cold. Remove orange slices before storing to avoid bitterness.
