Description

These Energy Balls are bursting with nutrition and they are simply delicious. This one-bowl, n0-bake recipe will become a family staple.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 2/3 cup almond butter
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened shredded coconut=
  • 1/2 cup ground flaxseed meal
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup dark stevia sweetened chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a large bowl, and stir until well combined.
  2.  Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
    or waxed paper.
  3.  Place the tray in the freezer for 20 minutes to allow the balls to firm.*
  4. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 1 week or freeze for 2-3 months. Enjoy!

Notes

  • If you’re in a hurry, you can skip this step and simply refrigerate the balls.
  • Please note that the “cook time” is actually “chill time” in this recipe.
  • For accurate nutritional information, be sure to use stevia-sweetened chocolate chips.
