Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 4 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom
  • 1 pound mixed nuts*

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg white, water, and salt. Add the nuts and stir or toss to coat.
  3. Drain in a colander for 5 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cinnamon, ginger, carmondon, and sugar. Add the drained nuts and stir or toss to coat.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray it with cooking oil. Add the nuts and spread them out so they are in a single layer.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, until the nuts are dry. Half way through the baking time, rotate the pan 180 degrees.
  7. Allow the nuts to cool and then break them apart. Store any uneaten nuts in an airtight container at room temperature. Enjoy!

Notes
