Apple Cranberry Tuna Salad

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 apple, cored and diced
  • 1 celery stalk, diced
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons dried cranberries (unsweetened if you can find them!)*
  • 2 (5 ounce) cans wild tuna
  • 1/2 cup good-quality mayonnaise
  • 3/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small or medium bowl, add the diced apples and lemon juice and stir to combine.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir until well combined and the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Serve on a bed of lettuce or with bread. Enjoy!

Notes

*Nutritional information reflects using sweetened dried cranberries. The sugar content will be lower if you can find unsweetened dried cranberries.
